Cancer Recovery & Survivorship Exercise

Start Where You Are. Rise Stronger.

RISE is a cancer-informed exercise and movement program designed to support you through treatment, recovery, and survivorship. The goal is simple: help you feel safer, stronger, and more at home in your body again—at a pace that respects your energy and your story.

RISE stands for Restorative · Instruction · Strength · Empowerment—four pillars that guide every session, whether we meet in person or remotely.

Cancer-Informed Support Exercise, education, and coaching—serving survivors locally in Southeast Texas and via remote coaching wherever you live.
In Simple Terms

Gentle, guided movement that meets you where you are, so you don’t have to figure it out alone.

  • Movement scaled to your treatment, energy, and comfort level.
  • Guided strength, balance, and mobility work.
  • A calm, steady environment that understands survivorship.
Start Where You Are

Is RISE Right For You?

RISE is for people who want to move again after (or during) cancer treatment—but don’t want to feel rushed, judged, or pushed too hard.

RISE May Be a Good Fit If:

  • You’re in treatment and need gentle, supervised movement.
  • You’re post-treatment and feel weak, stiff, or unsure where to start.
  • You’re a long-term survivor wanting confidence and strength again.
  • You want a coach who understands cancer-related fatigue and limitations.

You Don’t Need To:

  • “Be in shape” before you come.
  • Push through pain or hide how you feel.
  • Keep up with anyone else.
  • Know what to do in the gym—RISE meets you where you are.
How It Works

The RISE Process

Simple, steady steps so you always know what’s next.

Step 1
Learn Your Story

We talk through your diagnosis, treatment history, side effects, fatigue, and daily challenges.

Step 2
Safety & Clearance

We confirm any needed medical clearance and discuss boundaries—ports, pain, surgery, restrictions, and lymphedema risk.

Step 3
Your RISE Plan

We choose the right mix of guided sessions and simple home movement, adjusting week to week based on how you feel.

Ways To Work Together

How You Can Participate

You can RISE with support in the way that fits you best—whether that’s an educational workshop, a small group exercise session, or individualized 1:1 training.

Educational Workshops

Cancer-informed education and gentle movement for survivors, families, or community groups.

+

Workshops blend education with simple, safe movement. They help survivors understand treatment-related changes, reduce fear around exercise, and learn practical strategies for fatigue, mobility, and strength. Great for clinics, churches, community groups, and support programs.

Small Group Exercise Sessions

Coach-led movement with others who understand the cancer journey.

+

Small groups offer structured, gentle exercise with support and community. Every session includes modifications for energy level, mobility, and treatment side effects. You can participate seated or standing and at your own pace.

Individual 1:1 Sessions

Personalized sessions tailored to your diagnosis, stage, and energy level.

+

One-on-one sessions give you complete personalization—your history, your side effects, your goals, and your good and difficult days. Each visit adapts to how you feel, with an emphasis on safety, confidence, and feeling more capable in daily life.

Next Step

Ready To Rise?

You don’t have to figure out movement on your own. If you're ready to start where you are and rise a little stronger—one step, one session at a time—we’ll explore what feels right for you.
