UPNEXT Pre-Launch is a small, early-access group for kids ages 5–14 to experience our youth movement and development program before the full launch. It is designed for kids who need more than screen time: they need movement, confidence, and a positive place to grow.

Pre-Launch Details

The Pre-Launch group runs from December 1 through January 2 with sessions on Mondays and Thursdays at 6 PM (excluding holidays). For this first group, participation is completely free for the full Pre-Launch period.

Spots are intentionally limited so each child receives extra attention as we build and refine the UPNEXT experience together.

What We Work On

  • Movement fundamentals: squatting, hinging, pushing, pulling, jumping, and landing.

What to Expect in Each Session

Every UPNEXT Pre-Launch session follows a simple, predictable structure so kids feel safe, supported, and ready to try.

  • Check-In & Warm-Up: Light games, mobility, and basic movement prep.
  • Movement Skills: Footwork, balance, jumping and landing, and direction changes.
  • Strength & Agility: Age-appropriate strength, speed, and coordination work.
  • Game / Challenge: A fun finisher that reinforces effort, teamwork, and resilience.
  • Cool Down & Confidence Moment: Breathing, stretching, and a quick reflection on what they did well and what’s next.

Pre-Launch families also help shape the future of UPNEXT by sharing feedback about what their kids enjoy and what is most helpful.

Youth Development Framework

We do not guess. Every session is built around three pillars that prepare kids for what comes next on the field, in the classroom, and in life.

Move

Move well before you move more. Kids build foundational movement skills so they feel in control of their bodies. We train squatting, hinging, pushing, pulling, rotating, jumping, and landing with age-appropriate drills and games.

Train

Strong bodies, resilient minds. We use bodyweight and light equipment to develop strength, speed, and agility, along with conditioning that builds work ethic without breaking kids down.

Grow

Confidence that shows up everywhere. Kids practice trying, adjusting, and trying again instead of shutting down, while learning sportsmanship, teamwork, and a growth mindset.

Programs

Programs That Grow With Your Child

Kids change fast. UPNEXT grows with them and provides a clear next step as they move from learning basics to preparing for higher levels of sport, activity, and life.

UPNEXT Foundations (Ages 5–8)

A fun, play-based introduction to movement. We build coordination, body awareness, and early strength so kids feel ready for PE, recreational sports, or simply being more active.

  • Games that teach balance, rhythm, and body control.
  • Simple agility and reaction drills that feel like play.
  • Positive early experiences with effort and coaching.

UPNEXT Prep (Ages 9–11)

The bridge between “just playing” and “actually training.” Ideal for kids entering upper elementary or middle school sports, new teams, or trying out for the first time.

  • Introduction to structured strength and speed with great technique.
  • Movement quality for cutting, sprinting, jumping, and landing.
  • Confidence walking into practices, tryouts, and games.

UPNEXT Performance (Ages 12–14)

For older kids who want to level up. We focus on strength, power, and durability so they can handle the demands of middle school and early high school sports, or simply feel strong and capable in their own bodies.

  • Progressive strength and power work with safety first.
  • Speed, agility, and conditioning tailored to real sport demands.
  • In-season and off-season adjustments to fit their schedule.

Note: Age groups are flexible based on maturity, experience, and coach assessment.

Session Flow

What a UPNEXT Session Looks Like

Kids feel safer and more confident when they know what to expect. Each session follows a simple, repeatable structure that keeps them moving forward, one “next step” at a time.

Session Outline

  • 1. Check-In & Warm-Up (5–10 minutes)
    Light movement prep, mobility, and low-level games, plus a quick mindset check: one thing they want to do better today.
  • 2. Movement Skills (10–15 minutes)
    Footwork, balance, jumping and landing, and direction change using age-appropriate drills and games.
  • 3. Strength & Performance Block (15–20 minutes)
    Bodyweight strength, bands, and light equipment paired with speed, agility, and quickness work.
  • 4. Game / Finisher (5–10 minutes)
    A fun, high-energy finisher that reinforces effort, teamwork, and resilience.
  • 5. Cool Down & Confidence Moment (5 minutes)
    Breathing, stretching, and reflection on what they did today that puts them in a better place for what comes next.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my child have to play a sport to join?

No. Some kids in UPNEXT play multiple sports and some do not play any. If your child needs a healthier next step for movement and confidence, they belong here.

Will my child be lifting heavy weights?

No. We focus on technique, body control, and age-appropriate resistance. As they get older and more experienced, we gradually progress intensity, with safety as the top priority.

What should my child bring?

Athletic shoes, comfortable clothes, a water bottle, and a willingness to try. We provide the coaching, equipment, and structure.

Can my child train in-season?

Yes. We adjust training volume and intensity for in-season athletes so UPNEXT supports their sport instead of competing with it.

How long are sessions?

Most sessions are 45–60 minutes, depending on the group and schedule.

How do I know which group is right for my child?

We will talk through age, experience, and comfort level, and can adjust after we see how your child moves and responds.
